#1 A Daytripper's Learn & Lunch:
This will run from 10am to 4pm and will include the 3 hr hike as described below along with campfire presentation and meal
$65 plus tax per person (min. 6 people)
#2 A Taste of Nature Package:
Includes an afternoon and overnight stay
You will arrive at 1:30pm to collect your hiking gear and enjoy a guided hike learning about native plants, trees, birds and the wildlife that surrounds us. At 4:30 pm (or 5) you will gather to learn about cooking and prepping food for outdoor camping. With assistance you will get some hands on experience as you prep. And cook your meal over the campfire. (Sample meal – meat or veggie skewers depending on your preference, seasonal salad, stuffed campfire potato, authentic bannock, preserves on the side made in FFF, hot or cold beverages and a seasonal dessert). Important to note that all vegetables used will come from the farm and area farmers. You will be able to pick some items right from the gardens when growing season permits. Your guide will leave at 7:30pm but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. You can remain sitting by the campfire to tell stories or sing campfire songs before turning into bed in our comfy upstairs suites at Furnace Falls Farm. The next morning you can enjoy a continental breakfast in our upstairs breakfast nook. We also welcome you to visit our animals over at Wendy’s Country Market to feed them some of their breakfast treats before you depart for the day. This fun nature experience on the farm allows you and your family or friends to experience nature up close and personal without giving up a soak in the soaker tub or a shower and a comfortable night’s sleep.
Note: Optional indoor cooking class available in place of the campfire session (no change in cost).
Cost is $185 plus tax per person (min. 4 people)
#3 A Weekend for Four:
You arrive Friday evening and enjoy a prepared farmhouse roast chicken dinner with all the fixings. You have the entire upstairs to yourselves including both the Sunset and Sunrise Suite each with their luxurious en-suites. Saturday at 10 am you will enjoy a hike and a full day of activities with meals included. An evening campfire is sure to see you relaxed.
Cost is $875 plus tax for four for a one night one day stay or $1000 plus tax for a two night two day stay.
All options will allow you time to explore the farm and visit with the animals and take lots of photographs. Benches are placed along the hiking trail for those who prefer a more relaxed hike. The beautiful perennial flower beds scattered through out the property provide a picturesque back drop for photos as does the barn (inside and out).
